The Back and Neck Pain Relief Center is under the direction of Dr. Derek Brunton, North County's premier soft tissue and chiropractic center established in 1989. Dr. Brunton decided to become a chiropractor at the tender age of 6 when his mother's life was changed under the care of a chiropractic doctor. At that young age, Dr. Brunton dedicated his life to helping people like his mother through chiropractic and now is able to change other's lives on a daily basis. After undergraduate studies at Biola University he graduated from Life-West Chiropractic College. He was honored in Outstanding Young Men in America and has volunteered locally and abroad with groups such as Mexico Medical.

He continues to strive for professional excellence staying up on the latest and greatest in chiropractic through memberships, attending post-graduate courses, subscribing to leading journals, etc. Away from his practice, Dr. Brunton's interests involve playing with his family including his 3 children (and 1 on the way). He is involved in his son's Little League, local youth basketball league enjoys singing, weight training, and is active in his local church.
